MOORE THAN 25 YEARS
Since graduating with a BFA in 1993 I have been pursuing my dream of being a professional creative in illustration, writing and fine art. I've been grateful that my hard work and determination have paid off and I have been able to create licensed work for companies such as Lucasfilm Ltd, Disney, DC Comics, Marvel Entertainment, IDW/Viacom, Sony Online, Roger Corman and many others. It's been amazing to be able to contribute my art to Star Wars, Harry Potter, Dungeons and Dragons, Star Trek, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and so many other exciting properties. In 1998 and 2001 I won the World Fantasy Art Show for Best Black and White Art, have had 9 books published of my pop-culture and fantasy artwork and have nearly 100 sculptures based on my designs in distribution around the world.
In 2008 I embarked on another creative venture in the world of screenwriting and found some immediate successes with optioned scripts, paid screenwriting jobs and even award-winning feature films made of my work and many who pursue those dreams don't often get to achieve our goals of these kinds of successes.
Starting in late 2020 I was able to publish my first creator-owned comic series in Loco Hero which was a 6 year endeavor, and now I find myself working concurrently on 4 different comics titles based on my concepts. My eventual goal is to first self-publish my titles under my Maverick Arts banner and then shop them to the film industry for feature films and television series production. Currently I am the exclusive artist for Thomas Kinkade Studios for The Mandalorian Collection of Fine Art prints available through their galleries and I. am pursuing a variety of fine art and pop-culture publishing ventures.
